Your Generosity Powers Access for ALL

Two years ago PCFF moved ALL of its programming away from fee and ticket-based to Free/Pay What You Can. This decision wasn’t made lightly; as a small non-profit with a tiny budget, it represented a real financial risk. But offering access to all youth and families to enjoy the full breadth of festival films and workshops regardless of their financial means felt critical to our mission. We all should enjoy equitable access to awe-inspiring, thought-provoking, and empathy-strengthening film arts experiences.

What happened?

Festival attendance has grown tremendously, and over 40% of our audience were able to attend because of our Free/Pay What You Can model. Those who could afford the suggested prices, paid them, and often donated extra to cover those who couldn’t. We met our budget goal because you believed in our mission.

Free/Pay What You Can is here to stay and your generosity makes it possible.
