overview

Welcome to the Providence Children’s Film Festival FILM HUB!

The FILM HUB connects the community with resources to discover, explore and engage with film. These online resources—including a directory of past festival films, film availability listings, discussion guides, and film-related activities—are designed to increase and enhance access to the best of independent and international children’s cinema, and foster film education throughout our community in schools, homes and public spaces.

  • film directory: Browse our past festival films and view availability. Click on film title for details, trailers, themes. Note: Although we prefer presenting films at the Festival in their native language (with subtitles if needed), some films are dubbed in English for commercial viability and some films are not yet publicly available. Quick Link to Ocean State Libraries PCFF Film Collection.
  • film guides: Complement film screenings with guided discussion and hands-on activities.
  • film glossary: Explore terms and phrases used in talking about film and filmmaking.
  • activity reel: Creative activity ideas including writing prompts and hands-on projects for use with any film!
