Back in 2010, we were delighted to present GUS OUTDOORS: GULL ISLAND at our very first Festival. This mini-documentary was made by Rhode Island father-and-son team Sean and Gus Nightingale. Six-year-old Gus explored Gull Island offering insights on what he discovered about birds, nests, and “stuff”. Seven years later, this cinematic duo returns, along with sister Talus, in their latest foray into filmmaking titled GUS OUTDOORS: FISH FRENZY. Gus and Talus demonstrate the many joys (and some sorrows) of fishing off the shores of Portsmouth, RI. BONUS! The Nightingales will be in attendance for a Q&A after the show. Warning: After watching both films you will want to throw down your cellphone and get outside!
