What:
Create a hero out of clay to save the day! Kids learn about stop-motion animation and join in making a short film during this workshop from the Providence Children’s Film Festival with Team Hasbro volunteers.

Tuesday, August 22 from 3:00 – 6:00pm
3-5pm – Drop-in craft session with character-making and storyboarding
5-6pm – Short film screening and group filmmaking project in the park (arrive by 4:30, reservations recommended)
Where:
The Imagination Center at Burnside Park, 40 Kennedy Plaza, Providence, RI 02903
Who:
Age recommendation: 8+ (younger children are welcome with an adult caregiver)
How:
Stop by between 3-5 to join the craft session. To reserve a spot in the filmmaking project, register here (a limited number of drop-in seats will also be available). Note: Preregistered participants should plan to arrive by 4:30 or earlier to check in and make a character to use in the group film project. If not checked in by 5pm, the reserved space may be released so that other children in attendance may participate in the film project.
