In May of 2013, the Okee Dokee Brothers embarked on a month-long trek on the Appalachian Trail. They hiked, camped, met mountain musicians and wrote songs that make up their second adventure, THROUGH THE WOODS. As a follow-up to their Grammy Award-winning album invites viewers and listeners along for a journey full of camping, old time mountain music, miles of hiking – and a few shenanigans. The Providence Children’s Film Festival is hitting the road and heading to Tiverton Four Corners Art Center this summer! PCFF is dee-lighted to bring four frosty-February-festival hits back to cool you off. Our line-up includes the First and Second Place winners for the 2015 Audience Choice Awards SONG OF THE SEA and BELLE & SEBASTIAN. We will also screen the PCFF SHORTS REEL: Collection 2015 with this year’s award-winning short films. Finally, we could not go to the country without bringin’ the musically inclined OKEE DOKEE BROTHERS: Through the Woods, An Appalachian Adventure. All films are conveniently scheduled for pre-beach or post-beach viewin’. Food truck(s) will be present for many of these shows. Check website for details.
