Providence Children’s Film Festival is pleased to be a partner Festival in the 2014 Online New England Film Festival by recommending one of our 2014 festival favorite shorts, the Scared is scared.

The annual online event that takes place from September 1 through October 15, 2014 featuring dozens of short local films (not all necessarily for chidlren) that have screened at regional film festivals. Now in its 6th year, the Online New England Film Festival is an invite-only festival curated by our festival partners. This year, 28 filmmakers will have their work online.

PCFF is committed to nurturing the work of young filmmakers and so is proud to present a program of films all made by youth-from around the world-and to provide an opportunity for young filmmakers to talk about both the fun and the challenges they face. The up-and-coming artists hail from as far away as Australia to as near as your own backyard. There will be time after the show for Q&A and discussion with those filmmakers who are able to attend.
