2024 Workshops


The amazing GIF-O-GRAF and the Providence Children’s Film Festival are teaming up to offer up n’ coming filmmakers a chance at creating their first stop motion animation. The Gif-O-Graf work-station combines pro-grade animation equipment with easy to use functions so anyone can create top notch original movies and gifs. During this workshop, kids will learn how to use the machine, create original characters, and bring them to life in an animation of their very own! Recommended for ages 8 thru 12-ish. 










Where and when:

The workshop will be 3 hours with snacks provided! Take your pick for one of three sessions. Only ten spots per session are available. (One session per child please.) 

2/18 @ Wheeler Gilder Center, 11am-2pm. Reserve your spot HERE!

2/23 @ Mt. Pleasant Library 2pm-5pm. Reserve your spot HERE! 

2/24 @ Mt. Pleasant Library 10:30-1:30pm. Reserve you spot HERE! 

Materials needed: – Bring your imagination, curiosity (and maybe a sense of humor) and we provide the rest!

Registration required to enroll. $40.00 “suggested” class donation or “give what you can”. Nobody is turned away due to financial means. 

With your permission, what you create at this workshop will be screened at the Providence Children’s Film Festival where you can invite your family and friends to watch too! It will be part of the Youth Filmmaker Show Sunday, February 25th at 3:00pm. Autographs are encouraged but not mandatory.  🙂
