The class will “race” each other without running…a la Norman McLaren.

It would be nice to have These same learning workshops/ classes for Adults too. When I looked & wanted to buy tickets I noticed the Movie Making Workshop was for ages 6-12 yrs. only! How Dissapointing. What can I say-I’m a near 57 yr. old kid.

      Hi Karen,
I wish we could offer more classes for kids AND adults! Unfortunately, we only have space/teachers for a limited number of filmmaking workshops each year, and being a children’s film festival, we give the kiddos first chance. Would you like me to add you to our newsletter recipient list? Any new workshops we offer will be announced here. You might also check with AS220 and URI to see if they offer filmmaking courses for adults.

I hope you will join us during the Festival this year. We’ve got a stellar lineup full of amazing stories and innovative cinematography sure to please kids and grown-ups alike. You can find all the details on our website, https://app.arts-people.com/index.php?ticketing=pcff.

      Enjoy your day, Karen!

We will notify you if anything becomes available. We only have space / teachers to teach a limited number of filmmaking workshops every year – and this grouping of classes always sells out.

In addition to the Youth Filmmaking Workshops, we will offer animation workshops at two Providence libraries and a wonderful lineup of cinema during our annual film festival (Feb. 17-26), including the PCFF Youth Filmmaker Showcase featuring new work from filmmakers 18 and under who hail from around the world.

You’ll find film descriptions, trailers, locations, tickets, FAQs and Reel Connections presentation information here: https://app.arts-people.com/index.php?ticketing=pcff
