O PCFF apresenta o melhor do cinema infantil independente e internacional para inspirar, encantar, educar e conectar uma comunidade diversificada de crian\u00e7as e fam\u00edlias de Rhode Island e de toda a Nova Inglaterra. A PCFF \u00e9 uma organiza\u00e7\u00e3o sem fins lucrativos 501(c)(3) fundada em 2009.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

SOBRE O FESTIVAL<\/strong><\/h2>\n

O Festival Anual de Cinema Infantil de Providence acontece em fevereiro em v\u00e1rios locais pela cidade, com mais de dez dias de exibi\u00e7\u00f5es, workshops de cinema e atividades gratuitas, al\u00e9m de conversas p\u00f3s-filme que ajudam a aprofundar a experi\u00eancia de assistir a filmes e a desenvolver o pensamento cr\u00edtico. Durante o festival, o PCFF exibe uma m\u00e9dia de 12 longas-metragens e mais de 200 curtas-metragens \u2014 incluindo live-action, document\u00e1rios e anima\u00e7\u00f5es \u2014 feitos por cineastas de todo o mundo. Desde 2014, o PCFF inclui a Mostra de Jovens Cineastas, um programa com j\u00fari de filmes feitos por jovens, seguido de uma oportunidade para que jovens cineastas conversem sobre a divers\u00e3o e os desafios que enfrentam durante o processo criativo.<\/p>\n

CRIT\u00c9RIOS DO FILME<\/strong><\/h2>\n

O comit\u00ea de sele\u00e7\u00e3o de filmes do PCFF procura filmes com conte\u00fado que fale positivamente com crian\u00e7as, adolescentes e fam\u00edlias de diversas idades, origens e etnias. Considere a possibilidade de enviar filmes se voc\u00ea tiver criado um trabalho que possa falar com todos, inclusive com crian\u00e7as. Procuramos filmes que sejam divertidos e\/ou desafiadores para as mentes jovens, com t\u00f3picos e narrativas s\u00e9rios e reais. Os t\u00f3picos podem abranger toda a gama de emo\u00e7\u00f5es. Um filme n\u00e3o precisa ter um final de \"livro de hist\u00f3rias\" para encontrar um lugar em nosso festival. O PCFF aceita filmes estrangeiros com legendas, document\u00e1rios, anima\u00e7\u00f5es e at\u00e9 mesmo filmes experimentais que possam ampliar as perspectivas dos participantes. Por meio dos filmes selecionados, esperamos: demonstrar a arte e o of\u00edcio da produ\u00e7\u00e3o cinematogr\u00e1fica, provocar discuss\u00f5es sobre as hist\u00f3rias e os t\u00f3picos e estabelecer conex\u00f5es com pessoas e culturas pr\u00f3ximas e distantes.<\/p>\n

Os filmes selecionados pela PCFF nem sempre s\u00e3o apropriados para todas as idades. Para ajudar os pais a tomar decis\u00f5es informadas sobre o que seus filhos assistem e para <\/span>fornecer contexto para discuss\u00f5es<\/span>As listas de filmes do PCFF incluem idades recomendadas e notas sobre elementos tem\u00e1ticos, <\/span>e <\/span>descri\u00e7\u00f5es de conte\u00fado potencialmente desafiador.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

PROGRAMA\u00c7\u00c3O DURANTE TODO O ANO + PARCERIAS COM A COMUNIDADE<\/strong><\/h2>\n

O PCFF se tornou mais do que apenas um dos principais festivais de cinema do pa\u00eds dedicado \u00e0 programa\u00e7\u00e3o para crian\u00e7as e jovens. Estamos cultivando a pr\u00f3xima gera\u00e7\u00e3o de aprendizes visuais e pensadores cr\u00edticos, conectando nossa comunidade com recursos e programa\u00e7\u00e3o para descobrir, explorar e inspirar por meio do cinema durante todo o ano.<\/p>\n

Para ampliar o alcance de nossa programa\u00e7\u00e3o al\u00e9m de fevereiro, temos orgulho de colaborar com uma lista sempre crescente de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es parceiras em Rhode Island para oferecer exibi\u00e7\u00f5es, discuss\u00f5es de filmes e oficinas de anima\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
