PCFF + Hope High School CTE Partnership
PCFF is honored to have been selected to collaborate with Hope High School’s Film Production and Visual Arts Career and Technical Education as their industry partner.
New to Hope High School in 2024, this CTE program is available to Grades 9-12, and represents a significant commitment over their four years. Designed to provide students with exposure to the film and visual arts industries, PCFF will provide students work-based learning opportunities through jurying 2026 festival films, designing graphics, and assisting with running the festival. PCFF will also provide hands-on training to use the newly installed projection and sound equipment in Hope High’s recently renovated 1,100 seat auditorium.
Why CTE?
Approximately 18.5% of Hope High School students are fluent in English as a new language, and the 4 year graduation rate is 64.7%. The CTE program is designed to provide the support, motivation and inspiration to get students successfully to graduation day. PCFF is committed to supporting the students who choose the Film Production and Visual Arts CTE program through to completion, armed with the real world skills, certifications, work ethic and confidence to pursue a career in the film and video industry.
We are thrilled by this opportunity and can’t wait to share their work with you!
